Screamin' Eagle 110 Durby Cover
« on: August 25, 2008, 09:15:09 PM »

I'm looking for the durby cover shown in the picture. I have a 08 FXDSE2 and I would like to change it. Looks like they only came on CVO Road Kings and bigger. The one in the picture is off a 07 FLHRSE3. I would like blue but at this point I would take any color. I would be willing to trade if thats the case for someone that would like the one on my bike or buy it out right. Harley will only sell this if your bike had this cover to begin with. If you know how to get one or can get me one that would be GREAT! Thanks so much.

All you need is a VIN number from a bike that has it and you should be able to order one.

mine got knicked when one of the bolt heads stripped and had to be removed. Stealer said it was $159 and that it wasn't VIN protected. I couldn't bring myself to fork over the cash for something that only my OCD see's.

After further research I think the 07 CVO Road King is a 5 speed and won't work with the 6 speed cover. Does anyone know if this is true?

The '07 SERK has a 6-speed like the rest of the big twins in '07, and on. And that cover came on my bike, so it fits fine! Even running a VPC 92 behind it as well! ;)

The part #'s on the primary covers are different, so the dealer said that I could order it but they weren't sure if it would work. Don't want to be stuck with a cover. I wonder if most derby covers are the same (multi fit)?

The derby cover is the same on both the long and short primaries. The covers fit all big twins since '99. The '06 Dyna and '07 & later Softail and Touring models require Gasket P/N 25416-99C according to the P&A book. ;)
