That looks really good.  Pretty impressive work for dentless removal.  Glad things turned out great for you.  Dean. :bananarock:

Hey harley nc

Glad to see you got it fixed mate . Can I ask a question I am just putting a set on my SERK3 and I cant work out how to connect it to the battery or aux connector . Can you shoot me a pic of how ya did it . Being welsh I am naturally mechanically inept .

The instructions that come with the cycle tunes are better than the online instructions..1st make sure the amp is mounted upside down on the RoadKing.
See photo...bike is dirty from riding in the rain 1st of the week

Make sure you order the wiring harness http://www.chromeglow.com/catalog.asp?prodid=507884 for wire up it is plug and play. It plugs into the harness coming out of the rear fender..You will need too raise the gas tank about two inches too run the wires to the front of the bike. I used a cork from a wine bottle where the bolt is to hold the tank up while i routed the wire under the tank.. Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions just let me know.

Michael, it may not be an issue with your at all.  But rather be safe than sorry so here goes:

Some seats have a rubber pad in just about the place where that wire goes over the cross-support.  Worth double checking to make sure you're not slowly crushing it.

Was woundering how and where you ran the cable back up to the front of the bike and kept it away from heads ? You mentioned the bolt for the tank are you talking about the front 2 at the front of the gas tank ?
Thanks Mate , any pics would be mucho appreciated .

If you ever go to Myrtle beach Rally my ACDC tribute band HIGHWAY TO HELL are headlining the big Suck Bang Blow Bar for 3 nights in October and Spring . Come by cause I owe you some beers for all your help.

Martyn,
I will not be heading down to Myrtle this fall..wish i was its been about 5 years since I have made it too the fall rally..funny you said you were in a ac/dc tribute band. I am friends with this ac/dc tribute band http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=160666002&MyToken=349594df-cfc5-4ba1-ac07-b5eae25be7e2..
About raising the tank..take the seat off and you will see the bolt that holds the tank on to the frame (back bolt) next to the seat..then raise the tank up about 2 inches..theres enough room in there too run the wires it took me over 30 mins but it can be done (make sure you have a good light).
heres a picture of Jeff the guitar player with my gf at scooters in raleigh. Shes a ac/dc nut :apple:
