Louisiana Govenor Bobby Jindal

Having just finished watching Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's news conference concerning Hurricane Gustav's expected landfall; I gotta say...Man...that dude is impressive!!...Good job Gov. Jindal  :2vrolijk_21:

Louisiana and Illinois have this bad habit of eating their governors.  Hope he makes it beyond office without being indicted for something...

I just got the word that TS Hanna is heading for Savannah, GA on Friday. Good thing I'm down here in rainy FL.  ;D

Down here in Mobile, Alabama things are still quite, have power (except down in Bayou LaBatre), but still early yet. If Gustav goes as projected we should be in decent shape but all you folks in Louisiana stay safe also.  :2vrolijk_21:

My guy in Charleston also has a rollback wrecker that he does on the side. Over the years he has been on the FEMA list for hurricane callout. He's been to Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida in the past. Well, when Gustav started heading towards the US he was ready to go. Then the call came to stay put. It pays real well so he was a little upset about not going. That's when they called this morning to tell him to hold tight because they were going to announce that Hanna was on the way and would be needed closer to home. Like I said, I'm glad I'm in Fl for the week and not back in South Cackalacky.  ;D
