torque setting on windshield bolts

Anyone know the torque setting for tightening the acorn nuts on the HD windshield bolts? Had heard you do not want to over tighten because it will develo cracks in the plexi windshield.

Shield looks like this:

I don't believe there is a stated torque setting. Use a drop of blue lock-tite and snug lightly. In the case of lock-tite less is better.

Love that windshield!!  :2vrolijk_21:  :2vrolijk_21:

I found the these torque values on two different instruction sets, one for Anniversary Windshield Trim Kit and the other fo replacement wind deflector;

Replacement windshield:
"Do not overtighten fasteners in the next step. Over tightening can crack the windshield."
"Install brackets and tighten all screws and acorn nuts to 4-5 ft lbs (0.5-0.6 Nm)."

OR
Anniversary trim kit:

"Tighten the hardware to 48-60 in lbs (5.4-6.8 Nm)."

Don't have any taken outside in good light. Snowed again last night and it's just hasn't been nice enough. Here's one in the garage before I put the new HD shield bolts on.
