Well it's been over a year....

since she has been gone! Alls I can say now is thank you!!! Some of you might remember... My ex left me back in Aug. of 2007. We were together 24 years and married 17 of it. I guess the boyfriend was more important...lol. Anyway I would like to thank you again for all the support you gave a year ago. Especially my friend Sir Mike 113! (sorry things turned out like they did... That will be another post!!) Time does heal!! I'm doing great now. Met a few great ladies and am now in a relationship with one that rides! Sorry it's not a Harley... V-Star1100. As far as the divorce went... I won big time!! Got the house, got the daughter and didn't touch the pention!!! It cost me a few bucks but nothing to bad! In the meen time I put in just shy of 9000 miles in this year. Hoping to break that 10,000 mile mark. Again thank you all!!

Great to hear from you...   I am glad life's been treating you well - and real glad to hear you have your daughter.....  

9000 miles!  That's some good work!  And don't worry about the V-Star to much (hehe).  It's far from the most important feature of a great lady!   :2vrolijk_21:

I had a similar situation 23 years ago. I thought i  had the greatest marriage in the world. One day i came home from a week long field trip with the company I worked for, a day earlier then scheduled. My plan was to suprise my wife and go out to dinner and all that stuff.. Well, it turned out i was the one getting the surprise of my life. When I got home and walked into our bedroom to put up my stuff,, GUESS WHAT!!!! Yup, All i can say is chit hit the fan and i was the one that almost ended up in Jail. Needless to say, turns out her new boytoy was an illegal worker at her work place and ended up back in Mexico. (Kind of helps to know a few peace keepers in this world) Well much to my dismay my wife decides to pack up and move to Mexico too. I immediately went to a judge and filed for restraining orders for our 5-year old son and won full custody. I ended up raising him and had blast doing it. He is now a 26 year old responsible adult paying taxes like most of us. The X ended up in three other affairs and finally married some old lazy fart. Like you i met someone 8 years ago. Been married 6 years and we both enjoy one common thing, riding our Harley's on weekend retreats. What a blast!!!

i am wife no3, lost 2houses and the kids to my cheating ex wives, still no3 is 15years younger and has 2bikes of her own, everything going to plan so far.

Thanks again for all the kind words... Having my daughter has really saved me! She has no idea what she has done for me and I have no way of paying her back! She really saved me!!! She is involved in 3 different sports and wouldn't miss them for the world. Funny how life changes... I spent the last 25 or so years at the race track every weekend and practiced at least 1-2 times a week. (motocross) Injuries forced me out. Now I spend most of my time at a softball field or a gym at some school to cheer her on. Not in a million years would I say that would be funner than racing.... it is!!!

I guess I need to send the ex a thank you card!

Have a great day all and keep bustin' out those miles!!!

Oh Tommy,  I am so happy you shared this post.  My heart broke with yours a year ago when you shared the pain and hurt you were going through. So glad to hear that a year has put patches on those wounds and that you are having so much fun raising your daughter. You did win, big time, and it is obviously because you were deserving.  Glad to hear about the new love interest in your life to boot.  Great Job!
