I also received the letter yesterday!!!

With what they call an limited addition CVO Owners Issue Book, but it looks to me its a CVO Owners Issue STICKER stuck in the corner of a book, so this must make it a limited addition stick!!!

This has really made up the time the bike has been off the road, NOT

Hi,
Recieved my upgrade letter and Archive book today.Came from Milwaukee !
I am in Plymouth, England and have booked it in for the work to be done in october.
I have the FLHRSE4 bought in april this year and have covered  4000 miles .It started to leak after 3000 miles.
Hope it sorts the problem! ;D

The letter with the book is not THE LETTER. It is only describing the situation and telling us that the "Technical Service team" has been directed to contact us with a product upgrade offer, which - to my knowledge - has not happened in Europe at all. Any bike upgraded in Europe was done because of actual engine issues or because the owner or dealer was proactive. The letter with the book even quotes THE LETTER " ... within two years ...". There is a fine, but legally very important, difference!

I beleive there is no LETTER for owners outside USA.
As i understand it the SM or somebody at the dealership should inform all 110owners of the upgrade campaign when the owner contacts the SM to arrange normal service work  for example.

I agree with you.
We'll be informed by the dealership.
It was my case and the work is planned for the winter.

Yep. We're all on our own. Put my '07 SERK into the dealership after Lake Garda, to have the oil changed once more. I hope now it will stay clear.

Ride safely,

The Bike has now been done, and now lets hope this is the end of it.

Not bad only five months off the road, back on the road for winter.

HD have got a lot to answer to!!!!

Hi

Got just under 1000 miles in this weekend, no chance of salt on the road due to the amount of rain that fell, however it was dry on the return.

I am in discussion with HD ref extended warranty, but for 12 months, looks positive.

That's a lot of miles for one weekend, Donald! Where did you go?

Ah!  You'd have been a weary chap when you got home, I guess!   :)
