So Dash, the turning on and off of the bike is also useless?

Thanks for the clarifications.

Useless....but keep on reporting it so the traffic engineer can get the system repaired. They don't know until you tell them. Way too many signalized intersections in a typical city to have signal tech's running around testing detector cards.

When I first met my husband and I told him this, he thought I was crazy.  He grew up in the mountains, and I in the flat lands of the Canadian prairies.  It is not always true, but I like how you think.

All by myself waiting for a car to come
up behind me so thing will turn green.

Anyone have a solution?

In Tennessee we got a law passed that says if yer on a motorcycle you can Stop Look and Go. Lots safer than sitting at an intersection waiting to see if a cage stops behind you.

I feel that seeing red is a negative reaction to what should be a positive experience. Stopping is also a negative reaction. The only way we progress in life is to continue going forward! I will not let "the man" hold me back...keep your silly little "lights of allowance"...where is my drummer? I feel the need to march...

Oh, yea...there is that whole "safety thing".

washington state has a law 46.64 (I think) that says if you wait 1 cycle of the light you can proceed when it is safe to do so.
