If that was all military high explosives there's a lot more pop there than simple TNT. So blast could have been well more than a .5 kiloton equivalent detonation. Cool. Don't need nukes for big bangs. Watched an ACM detonation once that put off an itty bitty baby mushroom cloud. Very cool.
In 05/06 in Fallujah the engineers used to do controlled dets of all the IED and cache's they found...sometimes announced, sometimes not - when not it would often scare the crap out of you. I should have taken pics, most of the buildings in Fallujah had cracks in them from the incoming, controlled dets and the outgoing - lots of energy to military explosives.
I had a hard time on the 4th of Jul in 06 after I got back, ducking and waiting for the blast wave - wife even said I turned pale, something dad did as long as I can remember - crap messes with your head.
