BUB 7 True Dual for 2009 Harley Touring
« on: November 15, 2008, 03:48:31 PM »

Looks Bub is the first company to try to use the traditional route for the rear cylinder exhaust on the 09s.  Looks like a tight fit for the pipe on the left side.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my eye says that is one micky mouse setup for almost $1000.00

I agree, the '09 head pipes look fantastic I think.  the heat is moved away from you.  I really like them.  For Bub to go the old route I think will be a flop.

It looks like it will put a lot of heat on the spark plug wires and make it difficult to remove them without pulling the exhaust. I don't think the design was thought out too well.

It does look uncomfortably close. I didn't know until now that Harley relocated the coil on the 09's. The rear pipe comes close to looking like the power curve. Personally i like the Vance & Hines for the 09's so far.
