What's up with the CVOHARLEY.com site?
« on: November 23, 2008, 10:58:06 AM »

Just wondering what has changed recently with this site...

I haven't changed anything with my system, but now whenever I go on the site I get the annoying warning (with sound of course) about "Pop-Up" being blocked???

Every page I go to I get the same thing and I can't figure out what is different. :nixweiss:

I really enjoy this site and all it has to offer, but this warning is driving me nuts! :huepfenjump3:

The actual warning reads:

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked the website from displaying content with security certificate errors.  Click here for options..."

There are not  many options and none of which help me avoid this nasty warning.

Yes, I have opened up my Internet Explorer and gone into "Tools" turning off the message bar and sound of the warning, but it is still haunting me on this site only???

I have been a member for over a year now with over 200 posts and this has only begun in the past couple of weeks.

Please assist if possible so I can continue to enjoy the benefits this site affords me. :orange:

Thanks!

Have you added any new software lately? Changed operating systems? There was a microsoft update a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't cause any problems on any of my computers. Check on your security options in internet expolrer and see what level you have it set at, maybe it is too high. Did you update your security software? These are a few things that I would check, good luck.

I'm not receiving that message/pop-up more then likely as has been mentioned it is something on your computer or something your provider has changed. :nixweiss:

No problems here with Internet Explorer.

I would run a virus scan if I were you.

Griz, I hate to admit this.  But it was me.  I did it.  All my fault.  Crawled through the site in to your computer and munched on a few of your cookies.

Thanks for your assistance... However now that you've enjoyed my cookies, I'll have to get Santa a new bag now!

No problem as long as my problem has been solved.

Take care,

I wish I had a buck for every time something has happened on the site and I run to this thread to see if there's any comments.

One would think by now I'd remember it's just about glitches in people's servers etc and not what I keep thinking.
