Vance & Hines Dresser Duals
« on: November 01, 2008, 07:33:33 AM »

Check out V & H website they are now showing their true dual setup. Looks pretty cool and keeps the new setup with the back jug running under the bike similar to the stock design. Available in December.

The dresser duals are not the same as the power chamber. The duals are 2 individual pipes that do not join in the chamber. Both pipes run down the right side with the back jug crossing over to the left under the bike. Check out the website, they are different products.

You are correct, I missed that when I first looked at the V&H website.

Disregard this..

I have to agree with you Howie.  2 into 1 is about the only way to go with the 09's.  Unless they can figure out a way to mount the rear jug pipe like they used to on the 08's and earlier bikes.  Actually though, after putting the Pro Pipes on my Street Glide, I'm really getting to like the looks of the two into one on a bagger.   :2vrolijk_21:

I was just @ my Harley dealer talking to him about true duals for my 09 o/b serg that is coming in next week. He showed me on vance and hines web site the true/dresser duals for the touring bikes, due in Dec. I know there is alot of discussion about true duals for the 09 SERG. is this new info or not.

JP

It's not new information are far as the V&H being available.
But you could be the first to show us pictures with them on your bike.
I don't think we have seen that yet!

If you are talking about the Reinhart Dresser Duals Notice the Left pipe on them.  sticks way out and dosen't fit the bike... been there, done that...  V&H's have the o2 bung right over the trans, not sure why they did that,  If I had it to do again I'd buy the D&D Tru- Dualies for 399 For Eastern Performance. Their stuff is first class, fits and look great on the bike. JMHO>>>Greg
