Need help--wife's getting tired
« on: February 21, 2009, 08:23:13 PM »

Just got my new SERG home today and am installing my Hawg wired system. Removed the front of the fairing, but what is the trick to unhook the two headlight bulbs. Is there a release clip or do you just pull hard. I told my wife to hold it until I got an answer. Thanks Guys.

there is one clip on top and two on bottom. squeeze the green clips and ease out. replace fairing, when installing headlight bucket be careful about getting it in the slots.

hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I got it. There are two side clips that need to be pushed in while pulling on the black prong covers on the bulbs. They just unplug.  My wife was cramping up. She thanks you too.

Sounds like that job takes at least 3 hands... lol

Next time the wife starts cramping, just some of these and hang out here and read a few more posts.
