More than likely it's the Can-Am Spyder.  These are made by the maker of Ski Doo, BRP.

Here's a link to the review for a first ride.

Here in the St. Louis area, Ted's Motorcycle World in Alton IL. is a Can-Am Spyder dealer and they have a couple demos.

I could have included the link or at least the brand. Cranial Rectomitice. Sorry. They are sort of cool.

I parked next to a 600cc scooter with training wheels (not kidding) on the top of whiteface mt last month at our GTG.  It happened to leave just before us and was going 10 mph under the speed limit all the way to Lake Placid.  It had 30 or CVOHarley members behind her for 20 miles in 90+ degree heat.  The training wheels made it too wide to pass in the same lane.  It was worse than following a 4 ft nothin, white knuckled blue hair in FLA.

A Triumph dealer near me sells the Spyders.  It's made by Bombardier and looks like a snowmobile with wheels.  Even the seat and cowling are similar.

A guy I ride with has a Spyder. He loves it. Was on a wing but has really short legs. The Spyder is perfect for him. I rode it and it is pretty cool. You drive it. It sits like a sport bike and has a 1,000 cc engine with a 9,000 rpm or so red line. The steering is really touchy. He says you get used to it. It has some kind of active suspension to halp you keep it upright.

As fuel prices bring on the proliferation of the little scooters I'm getting to like a lot of the scooter riders less and less all the time.  If the local collection is anything to go by most just get on and go treating it like a bicycle they think they can drive in traffic.  Blissfully unaware of all the chit that's going on around them and happy in the notion that right of way must mean no one will ever make them bounce.

i test rode a spyder yesterday. :nixweiss:

definitely not for me but seemed very stable. get the feeling of going to high-side in a good curve but doesn't.

:nixweiss:think i'll stick with two wheels. i was looking at a klr. do not own one yet, but prolly will, a klr that is.
