Hello all,

I was hoping that someone would have some suggestions for the antenna mounts on my 06' CUSE.  I am going detached and will have the antenna relocated to the fairing and will not be needing the CB antenna.  I want to see what you have done to make the back of the tour pak look a little better with the whips removed other than installing some shorties.

I used the Tune-Trapper from Kuryakin.
It mounts inside the front fairing & works pretty well...

Looking at that link it says "* This product is not designed to pick-up/ receive weather band or CB radio" have you noticed this to be the case?

Sorry guys I already have the antenna for the inside of the fairing.  I am talking about the two black mounts that the whips screw onto on the tour pak.  I was hoping there was a solution to clean up the BACK of the tour pak and remove the mounts.

 I have asked Custom Chrome, as well as others for this same thing. Even 110mofo and I were looking a couple weeks ago at solutions. I thought some very small LED lights would cover these spots, not found any yet. Don't think any H.D. emblems would look good here. I don't know! Have had those whips off for years and still looking on replacing the mounts. Dave

FiredOOd, I am picking up the weather band with the Dakota Digital ANT 2000. I only use the CB when I reattach the tour pak and the CB antenna.

JJ, I too am looking for some black screw caps to cover the mounting holes for antennas on the tour pak. I would think that Ace Hardware may have something that would work, just haven't had a chance to check them out as of yet.

Ok, thanks for the info. Thought it odd that disclaimer was there. Weather band not something I use on a regular basis, but nice to have when travelling.

 You can't just fill the holes. The rectangular base mounted to the leather will leave a mark you need to cover, that's the dilemma.
