For the MOPAR lovers
« on: December 06, 2008, 08:05:05 PM »

I am not posting this in the for sale section because that is not the intent of the topic. Just look at the pictures.

MOPAR lovers, scroll thought the pics here, I don't even like the 71 Chargers but sure wouldn't mind this one.

Make sure you scroll down to the bottom to see the other rides.

Thanks for the link, Duane! :2vrolijk_21:  Super-nice unit, but HUGE B-I-N price for a non-HEMI car.  Will be fun to see where it ends up, though!

I think he is "banking" on the "only one made" for Canada deal.

Did you scroll to the end to see what is coming up?

Didn't make it quite all the way to the end, no.  I'll take a closer look when I get home, though!

Wish he would have shown more pictures! :huepfenlol2: I didn't count, but I would guess he wants $1000 for every picture! :nixweiss: Sweet car though. It was missing a shower and kitchen sink for me to justify buying it. :P

Except for 69k miles, you don't expect the motor to have to come out of the car, as this one's had done.  The rear looks like it's been messed with as well.  It might be worth the $75k that was offered, but not the $125k he wants.

Not sure what you mean by this.

But, I worked for several Chrysler dealers back in the mid 70's to 92, and we did a lot of engines in the "hot rods" back then. Many under 10K. And many were more then just using a little bit of oil  :o

Look at the paint on the motor and differential.  It doesn't match the wear and tear of the rest of the undercarridge.  The motor has been out of the car and repainted after being apart, the exhaust and intake still have essentially all the paint on them.  The rear has paper tags on that look brand new.  They're not going to look that way on a 37 year old 70k mile car.

This guy has been selling alot of really nice, vintage stuff........including some pre/post AMF FLH bikes for quite awhile.  All of it has been really nice.  Very eye pleasing.  not sure what's under all the spit and polish, but it sure looks good in pictures.  Thanks for sharing.
