Well red bikes do attract more police interest.   We always let the guys with the red bikes ride point, that way the cops ticket them and leave us alone.

I'm assuming that since it's a finished surface leather, it probably can't be dyed.  Anyone know for sure? 

I don't know anything 'for sure', but I'm guessing that some black leather dye that the local shoe shop will have will easily permanently make it all black.  spyder

I don't know if the dye will get through the glossy finish and into the leather.  I guess the only way to find out is to ask someone that does this sort of thing.  I think I'll ask them at the local leather store.  I think they do leather repairs, etc there, so they should be able to tell me.

I could probably use a dremel tool and cut through the shiny barrier on the leather, and then it would probably take the dye    (Before anyone responds to that, I wasn't serious)
