Just riders with the same datas ( 33 inseam ) , What is the perfect shield , looking over but no wind at ears and in the eyes ?
I do not have a possibility to compare , even normal Roadglides are not available here in Germany and i never sat on one .
Would you give me a help .
I just do know that the stock SERG-reflector will not work for me for making extended tours .
John from Clearview wrote that with my 6.1 height and the 33" inseam that with the GT Large it would be possible to stretch to look over and to duck to look through , should i then take the GT Medium ?
Difficult to decide .

I never like to have a shield hit me near eye level ---which it sounds like that is where John is indicating the Large is going to hit you.

My preference is to look over the top with an unobstructed view.  You get some air - which is nice in the summer but the trade off is there is some added wind noise.  I have never personally been partial at looking through a screen. 

It sounds as if you have decided that you want to look over the screen which then seems like your best bet is the Medium.

At 5'11" and after experimenting a bit on screens, i have finally settled with the GT Small.  Fits me perfect.

i would suggest a gt medium for you with stock seat..

I am 6' 1" with a 33" inseam. I have the GT Med for highway rides and the 9" recurve for around town. The GT Med doesn't look great as it is only available in lite tint, but for wind defection it is perfect. The 9" recurve looks awesome and does reduce the wind a good bit, and allow you to hear the stereo at highway speeds.

When you do want the GT Medium in dark grey tint then it would be from the thinner 1/8 material , and I thunk this is not as good as the 3/16 for this height of shield , but then only available in light grey .
I´ll take the CV GT Medium light grey .
