Can you explain % throat on the intake valve so we can understand the benefits?

The throat is the choke point at or under the seat. The value is the diameter of the throat VS the valve diameter. With 93% using conventional seat angles the 45° angle is about your last as there is no material left for any lower angles. Theory of porting angles and sizes is a topic that will get hundreds of opinions but IME less than or equal to 90% is better for these motors. Flow bench agrees with this too.
