Congrats Susan!

Don't let the size of the bike intimidate you. It's not the size of the bike that matters, it's the size of the rider INSIDE the rider that makes the difference. The best possible thing you can do now is PRACTICE. Too many riders take that course and then leave it all on the range when they finish. Then they wonder why their skills diminish. And remember, riding with your friends is NOT the same as dedicated practice. Practice builds confidence and confidence is what makes it FUN!!!!

Ride Safe.

I heard that her, Melanie, Terrie and Soozie are all riding down together to take RLAPWC after Susan gets a couple thousand miles in the saddle.  That'll not take her long if she hangs with Terrie.

Caught Terrie on the Iron Butt Riders Assoc. web site last night. :)

Thanks, I can't wait for the next GTG!  What a thrill riding in a parking lot was!!!  Kinda scared to go in the street, but I'm ready!   :'(

When my wife first learned to ride, she was worried about the steets as well. The best advice came from a women who had been riding for many years. She left a note on Maggie's bike that said; "Ride like no one is watching"...

Way to go!  Remember, do NOT ride faster than you are comfortable.  Too many people get hurt trying to keep up with faster riders.
Ok Ernie, I'll remember that.  I haven't been out of 2nd gear yet, LOL   :huepfenjump3:  Can't wait to try tho........ :nervous:

Hi Mark,

I will practice, practice, practice.....Terry and Suzy and Melanie are thinking about taking your safety class again with me when I am ready!!!  So get ready for us girls.  What a great group of people you all are.  I'm so excited to go to a parking lot tomorrow night with Jon and PRACTICE, like I'm supposed too.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, I will go slow and learn all I am supposed to!  I promise.
