« on: January 30, 2009, 11:18:32 AM »

Hi folks,
I got a 3210g efi race tuner when I purchased my 07 cuse. no cord though. I talked to the dealer & am going to purchase the wire kit this weekend.
My question is,how, where do i install the tuner?

OB.
I'll take a stab and azzume that you meant 32107-01G SERT??

There's no "installation" per say. There's a Vehicle Interface Module (black box) that lets your PC or laptop talk to your bikes ECU. You can change many internal settings.

IIRC the 01-G came with the v462 software. This is Ok but the latest for the old SERT is v477. Someone here may have a link to the v477 download. v476 is the one that was quirky.

First and foremost though, drop the SERT CD into your computer, find the Users Manual. It could use some improving but, print and read this manual from cover to cover. The read it again. You'll be glad you did. The SERT is no magic pill. It takes a good understanding of the SERT (or any tuning device) to allow it to make ECU setting changes in the right direction.

If you have the above listed software being version 4.62.   It disables the compression releases. and you do NOT want to use it as it is a known issue.  You want to have version 4.77.   The dealer for 20.00 can order you the version 4.77 if it is still available.   If not, maybe someone on the site here can send it to you or make it available thorugh some type of ftp or alternate.

If you have installed the software you will want to de install it completely through add remove programs.   DO NOT Install over top of it as the compression releases will continue to not work.
