Mine looks the same as the photo. I'm not worried though. It's my custom wrinkle pattern like a fingerprint. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Oh sh--! All this paint talk thats been circulating has everyone freakin'. Yesterday I took a million candle power flashlight out to the garage. Guess what? I think the factory spoiler on the back of my Grand Prix may be milky and a slightly different shade. Then I went over to my Tahoe. Sh--, I think the whole front clip is a different color. Look out GM. It's got to be the fault of DuPont and Jeff Gordon!  And now you tell me my seat is messed up too....

Hahaha...that's why I take away everyones flashlight BEFORE they look at my bike.  I also don't allow them to hook up the 5million candle power shop light.   ;D

well, the seat IS leather.  Take your wallet out and look at it...does it look the same as the day you bought it?  They will stretch and wrinkle like any type of leather product.  Anyone own a leather couch?  I think I'll keep riding.

I took my seat into a saddle shop that repairs and builds custom motorcycle seats and he said that I was really sitting more on the leather than the foam because the leather was so tight, kind of like sitting on a hammock.  He removed a little of the stock foam and replaced it with memory foam and reshaped it.  It made a huge difference in the comfort on the stock seat before I was sore after about 100 miles and waiting for the next gas stop, now I

Simply as a cautionary reminder... if you have your seat modified and then have a warranty issue with it (leather seperation, seam splitting, etc) it's likely you'll be on your own to replace/repair the seat. Stock seat on the FLHTCUSE costs $900.
I had a problem with the leather seperating on my seat and had it replaced under warranty.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
