Not sure if I like the look of them. They just seem to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere.

Definitely not for me.  For that money I would go with the Motolites mounted down on the calipres.

In my mind these are mounted to low. When there is bad weather, they'll be dirty in a sec. And because of the position, I am not sure of the reach. Also I think they look different to the bullet turn signals so many of us have, which is not nice.

          I agree with Boatman, Motolites are high quality, American, and give great illumination. If you are going to spend the money, you can't beat motolites.
