oil pump pickup screen

Does anyone make a oil pump pick-up screen for a twincam? And why didn't the MOCO put one on? With the plastic crap the pump has to chew on daily, it looks like a screen should have been used. Junk has to go though the pump twice before the oil filter can catch it.

Looked into this a while back after Mrs Wee's bike went down in Nelson.

After talking to engineers of oil pumps.....restriction is a problem with the limited capacity of the pan. Too much oil can cause sumping...bad.....too little oil and...well very bad....
