Lower Fairing install
« on: February 25, 2009, 05:25:07 AM »

Any SERG owners wanting to install lowers, FYI, the quick disconnect hardware does not fit, gotta use the OEM clamp setup.
To any SEUC owners, anyone wanna buy a quick release setup?

Sorry, what's the quick disconnect hardware?  Are you talking about the detachable lower kit?

If yes, one guy here already uses it and it's ok.

I didn't have any problems installing the quick detachable hardware on my SERG...it took me a while to figure out what went where, but now I can take it off and put it back on in a few minutes. The instructions weren't very clear and I stared at the illustration for 10-15 minutes until I figured it out.

I was told by my dealer that the quick disconnect hardware would not work with SERG lower fairings. Does someone have them on and pictures please.
Thanks!

the only part that comes close is the bottom bracket but it raised the fairing to where it was touching the floor board, now i do have the extenders on, out only. the stock bracket works fine and isnt any harder to take off cept for you need tools. and man, I got tools
