Floorboard extensions forward and outward
« on: February 23, 2009, 05:38:02 PM »

Has someone did mount thes Kuryakyn relocaters ? 1 inch forward and 1 inch outwards ?
Do they fit the Screaming Eagles 2009 , they have no different versions like Harley-goodies have ?
http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/scID/16/IMID/83

And this extended shifter and extended rearbrake pedal ? Any experiences ?

Highjagger, you might want to read here:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=30058.0

I can tell you the EZ-Brake lever will not fit the Rumble Collection brake pad that came on your SERG.  I ordered one and tried to install.  Pic #4 shows that the peddle is not compatible with the lever:

Pic #2 showing the difference between the EZ-brake and HD.  Also, the EZ brake will not fit with the lindbar.

Well, that's two strikes against the EZ Brake for me since I'm about to put a Lindbar on my SERG.

Thanks for the heads-up...

And you have not been able to make it fit ?
( perhaps with a little modification at the paddle ? )
Or is the fitting not possible in any way ?
It looks similar to me , seems to me that it could fit , but it`s difficult to see the little things .
What did you do with it ?
You sent it back to kuryakyn ? Complained about ? ( They say it should fit ) .
Please tell us .

Has anyone tried these for extended levers?  http://www.waltersworkshop.com/extended-pedals.html  I don't know if he has any out for the 09's yet, at least I didn't see them on the website.  In fact, I don't even see any listing for 2008, but I never trust the websites anymore without calling to find out if they have something.  I got my brake lever and extended shift levers from him for my 07 RK and they were a very nice product.  Maybe worth a quick e-mail or phone call.

Hmm the shape of the brake pedal seems to be similar to the hd and the kuryakyn , but the problem is the detail that you cannot see .

The other place I know of that sells these,  https://www.softbrake.com/shop/products.asp?maingroup=Harley&secondgroup=Brake looks like they have them with round holes in the lever instead of slots, and they different angled levers available, BUT I also saw that the business is up for sale, and who knows what their deal is at this point.  The round holes wouldn't look bad, but then you'd probably need to do the matching shift levers and they still won't match up with your mirror stems.  Just tossing out more options that are out there.

Why won't it work with the Lindby Bar?  I have a hard time imagining that bar getting in the way of braking.  These extended pedals are not that much of an extension.  But I guess I wouldn't want to be the one spending the money and the time to put them on, only to find out they really don't work.
