If it mounted correctly and you don't have 1/2" gaps on both side, you got a good one.  When they got my returned shield they called and apologized.  They could understand why or how the bottom edge got so far out of whack.  Although a lot of folks are getting the CB ones, I might give them another try in the future.  I still think that top flare has merits.
