On Melanies FLHX we put the Arnott legend air shocks, A corbin close seat to which they added an additional extra 1" forward foam and trimmed the sides down as far as they could to bring her legs closer to the bike. Also put 1" shorter springs in the front.
I had previously tried rear lowering blocks on the rear but even at 115 lbs., she still managed to rip out the rear wiring harness.

Thanks for the info.  That's one of the reasons I didn't want to lower the rear end.  Maybe Harley will make a pro street next year!

I'm looking for a seat that will get me lower to the ground.  I know about the "Easy Reach" seat.  I'm just wondering if Mustang or someone else makes one for us short people.  Thanks, Dean.

DUDE!!!! THAT'S AN AWESOME HELMET!!!! WHERE DID YOU HAVE IT DONE!!!???? I WANT ONE!!!!

I bought the mustang solo seat with back rest. It works pretty good. It lowered me about 1". Brought me closer to the bars and works okay. Some say it is comfortable right out of the box. However, in my case it is taking some time to work in. I love the seat and backrest is awesome.
