No ^%*^% luck.  It clunks even at 5 mph.  They have checked all the nuts and bolts.  It did it the day I rode off the floor and now has over 7000 miles.  What scares me is that I already have has a very close call with the old bike when my front brakes locked up on me at 70 mph.
It sounds almost brake pads have a bit of vertical movement.  If I brake twice at slow speed, I only hear it the first time unless I wait 10-15 seconds.

Hi Guys,
I have an 09 SERG and I have the same clunk you are describing when I hit the front brake. I have had the steering head bearing adjusted twice now and it makes absolutely no difference. It almost feels like the free floating rotor shifts the first time you hit the brake. Then it seems to be ok for a while.
