SE push rod tube tool
« on: March 28, 2009, 11:35:28 PM »

Since this tool covers more then one engine I put it here.

In the 09 P&A catalog there is a new tool listed (along with 1/2 of the cam bearing tools  :nixweiss:).

This push rod cover tool makes snapping in and removing the top cover an easy one hand operation

The open end is obvious and the pin snags the small pressed out area on the cover to pop it out.

The cover is pushed into the tool, the fit is tight enough to hold the cover.

Once the cover is in place it is easily snapped in using only one hand.

No scratches on the fins - no cuts - scrapes.

Nice tool, beat buggering up your fins or nubby's
