My 2004 next to sitting next to my friend's 2005 ( Which is for sale ) - Too cold and rainy to ride in Chicagoland today.

It has been nice that he has been storing it by me until it sells. I am able to compare feature to feature, such as the seats and exhaust.

I definitely prefer the 2005 seat.

I much prefer the way the 2005 performs with the Rinehart Tru Duals as opposed to my Screamin Eagle II Slip ons.

I prefer the wheels on the 2004.

The biggest plus for me on the 2004 is the color, love that Cobalt and Starlight.

The 05 with the reinharts preforms better because of the tuning. With your SE slip ons theDealer probably just did the HD download. The 05 should have either a SERT, PC, or TMAX for fuel injection and timing changes. Good luck you have one of the nicest SEEG made.

The Black & Blue is nice, no doubt had I been in the market a year earlier I would be with the "Black & Blues are the fastest"

I plan on doing some tuning to wake it up a little, I am just not sure which route to take.  I was planning on adding the Screamin Eagle Hi Flow Filter and also a PCIII that I already have using with a map from Jamie at Fuel Moto as my original thought. I have had pretty good results with this in the past on my 88ci Road Kings and Street Glide. But I am now leaning towards a custom map with Rineharts or Bub 7's and Tru Duals and a race tuner. My problem is I am not very trusting of the dealers in my area since I have had such bad experiences with them and would prefer to find an independent tuner.

FGIZZO if you go with a Thunder Header and the SE air cleaner I can find you a custom map for the PC that will put 105 at the rear wheels with the TQ being just about the same. It will wake up your bike and you will be very happy. At least you will be hapy for a while. That is what always happens, and then comes the NEED FOR MORE SPEED!!!!!

Wow - That is the nicest B+B I have ever seen. Love the wheels. I noticed the chrome cover over the engine trans area - do you a closer pic of that?

Looks lie the "HD trans - interface cover
MoCo say it will not work with hydraulic clutch.
