Seat adjustments for SERG
« on: May 26, 2009, 05:36:55 PM »

Am curious to know if anyone has experience with Mean City Cycles in Maiden, NC and their stock seat adjustments.  I've spoken with one HD rider who swears by them and his wife loves the comfort, but want to get other opinions before sending my seat off to them and giving them a few hundred of my hard-earned $$.  Here's their website:

The stock SERG seat is to short at the front nose and the ground-plate is not strong enough - it`s becoming a banana at 500 miles on it . You have to change these items as well .

Anybody know if the 08 and earlier frame seats still fit on the 09 SERG frame?

According to my parts manager - no.  The 09 touring frame is 3/4" longer.
