Both look good, I opted for the light Gray I ride a lot at night and lots of our roads in Mi are riddled with pot holes with my old eyes its hard to spot things once their close enough that im looking through the screen.

This is my first bike with a shield and it's been tough for me to get used to. The edge of my stock shield was right at eye level on a flat road so I decided to order a lower one to see over it better. Since a lot of guys were getting them with tint, I thought a light tint would work ok for me. What I didn't think about was riding in the mountains. My first ride with the tinted shield made me realize my line of sight moved down into the tint when I was going up a hill and then back up through the edge when I crested the hill. If you're riding in rolling hills all day like we do, your eyes are constantly going from clear to tint, clear to tint, clear to tint. Riding at night made the tinting even worse because my eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I returned the tinted shield, ordered a clear one and I'm much happier with it this way. It's less noticeable on the bike too.

I just ordered a Cee Bailey 15 dark smoked. I'm 6-4 and I believe I will be able to see over it. Specifically made for the 09 SERG. Now I just have to find the right seat..........................................Fuzz

I have the Cee Baily 14" in dark tint.  I am 6'1", I see over it with no trouble, and no trouble riding it at night on twisty mountain roads.

That said I am thinking about getting a 16" as the 14" puts the wind directly at my glasses at 70 mph.

I think if I go to the 16" I will have to go light tint, as I may have to look thru it up close.

Better safe than sorry, But you can always have the CB cut down.   Doc

I have the CB 14" dark tint and love it, the wind I get is not from the windshield but from the sides of the fairing. 6.1" no problems, I have a rental RG for a few days and get more wind from the stock RG shield Than my lower CB shield and the stock shield is right in my eye level, not good.  Doc

I mounted the dark CB15" with 6.1 , looking easily over the shield , buffetting is nearly perfect but where is the hot-rod-look gone .
I do not really like this new look of my very cool scooter , it has lost a lot with this shield .
Will search for another shield , maybe a CV sport or a windwest 10" , dark as possible , the look has to come back , perhaps with a little advantage of wind-protection than the stock deflector ( which looks really most cool and hot-rod extreme ) .
As i allways have to ride with a helmet here in germany i decided to let the look be more important than the use , hmmmmm .
