There is a public awareness motor cycle ride to honor Anita Thursday evening.

It is leaving from the southern Lake County Traffic Court House on rt60/83 at Diamond Lake Road at 5:45pm. The route will be 83S to 22W to S Buesching Rd to her wake.
Going in is optional.
This is for motor cycles only.

The cost is your time, as you care. And if you would like to bring something, bring black fingernails.

AND YES I just spoke to Fox News they will be at the courthouse on thursday, SO LETS SHOW  if you care.

She has admitted to being distracted to painting her nails.  Currently she only has been charged with a moving violation,  but she has hired one of the top defense lawyers in illinois.  They said on the news tonight that they may be looking to file criminal charges soon..

Her poor son was on TV tonight,  and he is wearing black nail polish to protest this whole thing...  I saw pictures of the bike,  and it wasnt too bad,  but the force threw her 200+ feet.  she was wearing a helmet....  She was quite a experienced rider as well...

I pass thru that intersection many times on weekends.

I am seriously thinking of trying to form protests,  but I just dont know how to organize this....

I am just coming off a accident last year where we were t-boned by a woman on the phone... she got a slap on the wrist....

Is the protest/support for this particular sensless killing or for all the sensless injuries/killings of motorcyclists?    Regarding the suggestions I gave.....I assumed you were referring to protesting all the sensless killings of motorcyclists. :nixweiss:

Imho, I think this Tribute Ride is a great first step in the right direction. From what I'm hearing already, this is going to have a massive turnout. Major Chicago TV and other media is attending so hopefully this publicity will spill over to focusing on the wider issue beyond just this one example.
