Aux headphone jack installation
« on: March 22, 2009, 09:53:27 PM »

I have a 2009 SERG and would like to wire in a 3.5mm female output jack so I can listen to my stereo by using my custom molded headphones. Does anyone have any good info on this.

Friend of mine with a SG had Harley do his for about $220. It is extremely well done. They ran the connection to the front of the seat.

Not familiar with stock equipment on a SERG, but does it have the normal DIN sockets for headsets?  If so, 5 minutes and a couple of $$ worth of parts from Radio Shack or similar makes up a 3.5mm socket to DIN plug adapter...

I'd be interested to learn what your friend got for the $220. It certainly must have been more than just the cable ...

Ride safely,
