pitting chrome on 2005screaming eagle

has anybody had a problem with the chrome pitting on your 2005 screaming eagle?

I thought most of the problems with chrome pitting was with the 04 models.  My 05 rear wheel is now pitting.  >:(

On the 05,

Stealth Throttle and clutch hand grips both need replacing and my rear passenger backrest is horridly bad it goes in to the harley shop on next monday for that and a new linkage pawl that has to much play in it.  

Other than those so far so good nothing on the rims that I can see.

my derby cover has been replaced and I'm on my 3rd set of grips.....saddle bag hindges and chrome strip on top of saddlebags is pitting along with some on the console....my dealer says Harley won't replace any pitting....
