Bike Problem
« on: April 23, 2009, 10:13:19 PM »

Bike: 2000 SE Road Glide, 67,000 miles. I've owned the bike 1yr (5000 miles) and it appears to be stock. No issues.
Last Sunday I left the house and rode 15 miles to fill up. Filled up and parked for about 20 mins. Cranked up fine, waiting on traffic it dies.
Like hitting the kill switch. It will fire right up, switch off/on, run 5-10 seconds then die. Still have lights, gauges, etc. I checked fuel pump screen, it's ok.
Did notice pin hole in pressure line. Checked fuses, relays and stuff. All seem okay. Any ideas. Sometimes it'll fire up and run till I shut it off.

Thanks Tom

Any trouble codes present? Is there a security system on the bike? If so the TSSM (turn signal security module) will shut the bike down after about 3 seconds if it is activated. Check the system relay as well.

When I use the Engine Lamp Diagnostics I just get 15/16 rapid flashes, 2 second pause, 15/16 rapid flashes.
System relay ???  No security system.
