09SEUC Seat Height
« on: October 08, 2009, 08:57:06 PM »

I was just wondering  if anyone has had their seat sculptured to lower the height. I was at my local dealer today and when I sat on a Ultra Limited and a 2010 dresser  I could put both feet flat on the ground. I have a some difficulty doing this on my 09 SEUC. I am concerned making changes to the seat   since the seat is heated, and it feels comfortable. However, I would be more confident pulling up to a stop etc. with a passenger and luggage if I could plant my feet on the ground a little easier. BYW I am 5'9". Thanks for any input or pictures.  Hi

I have said the same thing, the 2010 seat pn# is 52344-10, I don't know exactly what the moco did , but I agree, I am able to put both feet solid on the ground. Hope this helps you  :2vrolijk_21:

I have used 11,5" 440 Progressive's to lower the bike in the back for the same reason. It is fine now.

Ride safely,

Marty, is that part no from a SEUC or a  regular Ultra. The reason I ask is that when I sat on the 2010SEUC they have at Simi Valley Harley it felt the same as my 09SEUC height wise, but when I sat on the Ultra Limited and a regular dresser it seemed as though I could put my feet flat on the ground much easier. I really don't want to change out my seat because I like to ride when it is cold out and enjoy the heater, but I am thinking of getting it scuplted down a little. Thanks again to everyone that replied. CAHDBIKER
