How do you tell which injectors are installed?

I'm buying a used 2006 FLHX.  I looked at the SERT software and canned maps and see that there are maps for 8 degree and 25 degree injectors.  Is there a way to tell?  Once the SERT is connected?  I am getting the SERT dongle with the bike.

Take a flashlight and a mirror and look for the part number on the injector.  The 25° version has a different part number and it has 25° written on it as well.  See photo attached.

Excellent!  Thanks Jerry.  Very concise.  I'll check tomorrow when I get the FLHX.  I decided to bail out of the 110" saga.

  If you have the 8 degree injectors change them to a set of 25 degree injectors them start tuning. you'll be glad
you did. the short story is the 8 degree injectors are a moco screw up.            axil

Was there a bulletin or TT for this change?  Was it a warranty item?

It was a warranty item if there was a driveability issue.  In other words, if the customer bitched they would switch the injectors and the calibration.

if the FLHX is after Feb 06 it is suppose to have 25 degree injectors.

Jan 06!  I already looked at the part numbers and verified they are 8 degree.  If I ever feel the need to make any mods and retune, I'll change the injectors.

No big deal, they told me after Feb 06. I got my bike end of Feb o6 with 8's and my wife got her bike 1st part of March and had 25's. It makes more sense that it would be Jan 06 knowing how slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww HD is.
