wind on rider
« on: May 08, 2009, 08:48:13 PM »

I have an 09 Street Glide and I finally settled on the windshield that I like the best. I'm running the 9.5 recurve from Clearview. OK, I still get a lot of wind coming up from below (have no lowers) and I am wondering about those wings you can attach to the lower sides of the fairing. Anyone use the adjustable models? Do they block some of the updraft when closed? Any feedback appreciated..

Thanks,

jimBob

The least expensive thing you can do is add the lower fork air baffle-about $20...
The adjustable wings on each side of the fairing work great as you asked-about $100..
If they don't solve your air problem, buy the painted lower fairings.  No air from below at all.

I got the 10 inch on my road king fairing (woodys fairing best thing I ever put on my RK) the 10 inch and the freedom wings work great togather.
