I just got a set off ebay yesterday.  those of you who have had them coated, have you noticed any blueing of the mufflers?  I would assume that if the heat is not being transferred to ambient, that the exhaust gasses going into the mufflers must be a fair amount hotter.  While I think this is a good thing I am wondering if it will discolor the muffler, or cause the chrome on it to fail.

Muffler discoloration will depend on the baffle design. If there is a prominent constriction in the flow path, as with the stock -09 CVO design, that will create a hotspot and discolor whether you have ceramic coated head pipes or not. H-D started using heat shields on their touring mufflers to cover the discoloration.  Many people also experienced this with the V&H 2:1 Pro-pipe.  It was easily fixed by drilling a 1/2" hole in the front cap of the baffle to free the flow.  I am using Fullsac baffles that are straight thru and I do not expect any issues with discoloration.
