tuned, do you have any image editing software? if so go to the edit menu and choose resize, and bring the image down to 1024x768. that should reduce it enough.

A very easy to use but effective image resizer can be found here.  It will integrate as a menu option in to Windows.  There are several programs listed here.  Look for "Image Resizer."

Once installed its use is simple.  Just point at the file and right click.  You'll have a "resize" option that didn't use to be there.  The program is free.

I did get it to resize, maybe I am doing something else wrong- I click on post or reply.
click browse- go to the pic and open it. I then hit preview . it takes about 15 seconds
and I get a message to reattach for security reasons.

Can you see a pic on the preview? Is there anything that sounds wrong about that?

And if you try you'll lose the attachment.  Do it all again, but post without previewing.

E1, any reference to a deity is by definition here directed toward Naitram.  Made the edit you requested though, just in a mere mortal sort of way.  Thanks for pointing out it wasn't there.

I use Irfan View. www.irfanview.com  It's a free download and very simple to use. Just click onto resize and put in about 540 it will add the second number automatically. Pic size then will be just right for most forum use.  :) Sandy
