I just ordered a set of the Freedoms,, and one of the questions I asked them,, was about the clearance of the brake pedal to the pipe.  I was told that,  that problem had been taken care of,, and there is not a problem anymore with there NEW pipes for the SE's !!!
Now if I ever get my bike back from the dealer for the paint problem,,I hope to get some miles on it in Daytona!  I called John,,  of  http://www.rollingthunderdyno.com/  that Twolanerider had talked about,, and asked him if he would Dyno it for me down there,, and he said he would like to have at least 400 miles on it,, before he does it. I am looking forward to see just what he can get out of the PC after the Freedoms are installed.

How would you describe the difference in sound between the Freedom pipes and the D&D 2 into 1 fat cats?

Ok, I've done some miles with these babies and man, I love 'em. I've had a few compliments on the sound as well. Not too loud, but get on the throttle and those babies roar. My bro in law was speechless, I left him in the dust, he has a stock 97 springer, Evo.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

FINALLY!! [smiley=banana.gif]

It's done!!  Just finished installing the "Freedom" package and took her for a quick 8 mile drive to top off the tank.  What an awesome sound, especially at idle, and definitely a difference in performance although I couldn't get it above 45 without attacting the attention of the coppers. Need to publicly thank HD-Dude for answering several pm's as I worked thru the install--hope this didn't bother you HD.

Still have a couple of issues to clear up, the brake pedal does touch the heat shield causing some extra vibration.  Second, I want to reinstall the original AC cover and the original bolt is too short to attach the cover to the new AC.  Third, I'll be calling Freedom tomorrow to see if there's anything I should check on the PC, and fourth, I'll be taking it to a shop recommended by MrsWECVO to fine tune the system and confirm for me that everything is okay--don't want the local 'stealer' to get close to the bike except for routine service checks.

If the rain holds off, I plan on a ride this weekend which will be a good road test for the package and the new heated seat also installed this weend---the seat for the Mrs and the "Freedom" package for me----that's fair isn't it???? [smiley=cherry.gif]  All this installation by one with very little shop experience but I wanted to save my "Harley Bucks" for other 'toys'!!

Thanks again to this site!!
