I HAVE A CVO-2008 SPRINGER SOFTAIL. IN LOOKING AT THE 2009 S.E. CATALOG I'M CONFUSED AS THE 110 ENGINE HEADS THAT ARE USED ( I REALIZE THEY SAY S.E. 110 ) HOW DOES THAT RELATE TO THE HEADS IN THE CATALOG?
JUST A FYI MY TAC&SPEEDO BEGAN BOUNCING FROM AT SPEED TO ZERO LASTING A FEW SECONDS THEN BACK TO NORMAL WITH A CODE FLASHING 605. MY SON'S 105TH 2008 BIKE STOPED DEAD AFTER 22 MILES (NEW) ON IT AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE H-D DEALER. AFTER TWO TRY'S TO FIX IT THE MAIN WIRE BUNDLE THAT GOES TO THE ECM MODULE ,THE CONNECTOR THAT PLUGS IN HAD PINS THAT WERE NOT SEATED CORRECTLY IN THE CONNECTOR. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MINE, AND CHECKING OUR CLUB OUT OF 11EA 2008 BIKES THREE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. H-D HAD BETTER IMPROVE THEIR PARTS INSPECTION THE GET FROM VENDORS OR INTERNAL. IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU HAVE THE TECH CHECK THE PINS FIRST RATHER THEN REPLACE YOUR ECM FIRST.
