I have a Lifetime plan with my dealership, man you can;t beat it. I am like the Terminator, I had 50,000 on my 06 and never paid a Nickel for a service.....other then the initial cost. But if you are a rider it is money well spent!
I have the same plan on the 09 and will continue when I buy a New one.

Great looking Scoot Terminator, Enjoy the vacation. I will admit one big difference between the 06 and the 09. The 09 runs hotter and there is alot of heat on the right side....still trying to get used to it. I am wondering what kinda heat it's going to throw off in July and Aug.

I'm assuming we are talking about the Edge plan.  At least that's what they call it here.  I think mine is just for 3 years or 30,000 miles, but maybe I'm wrong.  It would be nice if it was for life.  They would lose big time on that one with me.  I've got over 11,000 miles on my 09, of which about 10,000 are from April and May.  Tomorrow I'm heading to Ocean City, MD for a week...which is a change in destination from an earlier post, in case anyone happens to catch that.  I'll have to check into the maintenance plan I have sometime to see what I actually bought.  I know it wasn't cheap.  I'm thinking it was about $1700 or so.

My plan is actually the dealers own plan.  Preferred Customer Program.  $1600 for 36 months but unlimited mileage.  He makes his money off folks that ride 3 or 4 thousand miles a year.  Remember it was snowing up here in MT on Memorial day weekend and will snow again in September.  There are a lot of folks up here that run less than 5000 miles annually because they don't like riding in below 50 degree weather.  I figured up costs on the various maintenance stuff and made an educated guess that I'm not wasting any cash if I'm running the miles I do and with the plan I can ride the crap out of Ruby this weekend, Let'em know Sunday afternoon that I'm turning it in for maintenance Monday on the way to work (and they'll take me to work if I want).  Pick it up at lunch time and it's washed and ready to roll.  If I want the oil change done early because of overly hot weather or severe service.  They do it, no questions asked.  And still expect it in for the next scheduled requirement.  And if I get a flat or can't ride it in for some reason, they've offered come and get it within 20 miles (no charge), farther for cost of fuel.  Most of the maintenece I don't mind doing, but I really don't want to screw with the big ones involving tearing things down to the triple trees, or removing the fork tubes or cam plates for maintenance.  Since I got the 3 year plan at the start I can renew for another 3 at the end, where If you don't get it initially, you can't start it up just before the major maintenance stuff.  They're on to that game.

Mine is the same plan entirely, except they cut me off at the legs after 30,000 miles.  With the price of maintenance, I still come out way ahead, since I ride enough to go through the entire plan in 1 to 2 seasons.  I can see where most people will never put 30,000 miles on their bike, and they come out way ahead on those folks.  But you are correct about not wanting to deal with the big ones, that require tearing things down.  Although I haven't been real happy with my dealer, I will say that I have been finding the evidence that they are actually going through and doing the things they are supposed to do on the maintenance.  I don't mind going over it a second time and finding that they've done things correctly.  Now, if they can just quit leaving marks (the evidence), I'll be fine with what they do with my bike.  It's still safety first, and that part of it they seem to be doing okay with.

My dealership calls it the Lifetime plan $1795.00 as long as you own the bike they service it for free.
They hate it when I buy it, but they make it up as everyone has said on people that put 3,000 miles in 3 years.

Oil gets it every 2500 miles, then whatever is in the book they do. I know guys that spend a lot of time screwing around with there bikes and sometimes question there own work. I don't want to say I don't have time for it, but I will say I don't want the hassle. I would rather drop it off and go get it while picking something else up for it (chrome :))

I love my dealership and always have, they treat me well, explain everything and even let me go in the back and talk to the mechanic when I want.
It used to be 1295.00 let's just say it went up.
Non transferable of course, just wanted to throw that out.
