Service Bulletin M-1244 Advanced Audio Navigation Set-UP/Satellite Acquisition

Purpose

In manufacturing, a faulty integrated circuit (IC) was inadvert-
ently installed in Advance Audio System GPS Navigation
modules. Select Harley-Davidson Navigation modules have
been unable to acquire sufficient satellite signals to calibrate
the unit. The suspect modules are identifiable by the date
codes: 1428-0559.

Thanks for the info. Now I can go back to the dealer and show him how to fix my non functioning NAV feature.
What would we do without CVOHARLEY.com?

you guys are great...so I guess the question is, approximately when were these date codes put on the bikes...or should I worry even though my nav system seems to take longer than the one on my '07 to initialize?

I know I had one of the bad ones and my bike was manufactured in the first week of November 2009.
