Chrome filler at spark plugs
« on: June 12, 2009, 10:43:52 PM »

Anyone install the chrome filler bridge that covers the head at the spark plugs. Sorry I don't have a part#. I picked up a set at the dealer today and the spark plug hole is not centered on the plug. Parts guy said they would fit a 110 cu. I have the same ones on my Heritage and they are perfectly centered on the spark plug.

They Will not fit the 110, without some dremel alterations, the plugs on the 110 are in a different angle on the 110. Some guys have used a dremel on the inside of the bridge to get proper clearance. There are threads out there on this, hope this helps

Don't the MOCO say that you shouldn't run the chrome bridges on bikes fitted with fair lowers  No idea why something to do with heat dissipation I guess

Looks great, Jorge.  I wonder sometimes about those fitment statements they put on H-D branded accessories.  The H-D branded hex head transmission dipstick has a statement indicating it won't work with hydraulic clutches.  Looks just like the stock one from the threads down.  Haven't tried it yet, but is on my list of things to do.
