Red Line Big Twin 20W50 PowerPack $79.95Looking for cooler operating temperatures, better shifting, less noise and less wear? Red Line's PowerPack includes our latest motor oil for motorcycles, V-Twin Transmission Oil with Shockproof, V-Twin Primary oil for the primary chain case, plus a bottle of Complete Fuel System Cleaner for Motorcycles.
This kit is suggested for with all Evos ('84-up) and
includes 5 quarts of 20W50 Motorcycle Oil, 1 quart of V-Twin Transmission Oil with ShockProof, 1 quart of Primary Chain Case Oil, 1 bottle of Fuel Injection Cleaner for Motorcycles, a sticker kit, a Red Line Oil embroidered hat, and a versatile funnelShipping: $8.85 plus $.50 per quart
---------------------
Considering that the folks with the '07 and later bikes will need more than one quart for the primary, this PowerPack thing may not be the best bet. But, let's try a few variations and see what we come up with.
PowerPack plus 1 additional quart V-T Primary lube, $79.95 + 11.45 + 12.85 shipping = $104.25
5qt 20w50, 2qt V-T Primary lube, 1qt V-T Trans lube, $57.25 + 22.90 + 11.45 + 12.85 shipping = $104.45
5qt 20w50, 2qt MTL, 1qt Heavy Shockproof, $57.25 + 20.90 + 9.99 + 12.85 shipping = $100.99
Well, it looks like the old original versions come in a tad cheaper than the new V-Twin labeled stuff. Surprise, surprise!
Of course, the first option with the PowerPack does give you a nifty funnel, a hat, and a bottle of injector cleaner for only $3.26 more than the cheapest option. Might be OK for the first order, but how many funnels does one guy need?
BTW, the difference between the V-Twin specific products and the old standby's is actually less on this site than what you'll find on most other sites. I've seen a $3.00 per quart difference elsewhere.
