SHOPPNG FOR A NEW SEAT!
« on: June 16, 2009, 03:12:55 PM »

I HAVE AN 08 FLHTCUSE3.
HAVE BEEN CONSIDERING A DIFFERANT SADDLE.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IS:
SIMILIAR TO THE REACH SEAT THAT HARLEY OFFERS, BUT MORE COMFORTABLE, AND BE ABLE TO STILL HAVE THE HEATED OPTION.
EVEN THOUGH I AM 6 FT TALL, I LIKE A LOWER POSITION IN THE SADDLE.

PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS!
THX. SAWYERGHOST

I've got a basically new Saddlemen's Explorer seat with backrest that should fit your bike that I'm going to sell if you want to ride up here and try it on your bike.  I live just west of Richmond, IN.  It's not heated but might fit the bill otherwise and you could try it out first if you think you'd be interested.

Had it on my 09 SERG for about 200 miles and decided I wanted a two piece seat instead.

Hello Skippy,
I might have an interest in your Saddlemen's seat........What price did you have in mind for the Seat and Rider"s Backrest?
I have taken the Original Heated Seat to a Trim Shop that has done work for me in the past.(Primarily Boat Upholstery, and Covers)
And they are trimming down the sides in the Thigh area, and carving out and installing Gel Pads in the Rider & Passenger Seat area. I do enjoy the Heated Function when weather dictates.
Thank you for your offer!

Sawyerghost,    I had it listed on Craigslist for $500 plus shipping but I'd ship it to you for that if you wanted it.  Or you could ride here and try it out first if you wanted to.  If you're interested any time you can email me direct at   sdavis49  at   agristar.net
