FULLSAC guy, Steve, says that the stock filter is very good, only 3 or so hp worse than no breather.  Only reason to change to anything else is for looks, nothing else will offer a measureable power advantage.

Yes, the '09 SERG air cleaner is in fact the Ventilator air cleaner from the SE catalog, and it is a high flow air cleaner.  You don't really need an upgrade if the heads and throttle body are stock, but the only thing I know of that Harley sells that flows more than what you already have is the Heavy Breather.

100% accurate info from Jerry.

I have my first 09 SE Ultra arriving in the morning for little tune up. Looking forward to dyno testing the stock AC.
The stock 09 SERG filter shows a 2 HP loss. Not bad compared to many others. Anybody want to make a prediction on the Ultras stock AC? My slightly educated quess is 3-4 HP loss.

I will post up the dyno charts tomorrow afternoon.

I put the HB on mine at about 1000 miles and was very surprised to see the amount of oil already in the breather.   It would have been dripping in another few hundred miles.

i had oil in my 07 air cleaner at 500 miles - worse at 900 so...

new rings & oil pump r&r and reset etc

6 runs on the dyno to break in the rings

zero oil in the air cleaner at 12k miles, doesn't use ANY oil that i can measure - and im running with a sidecar...

apparently break in on the dyno is the way to go if you can get it done free...
