Progressive 440 series shock size?
« on: June 25, 2009, 02:44:35 PM »

Hello fellow SERG Owners!

I am wanting to upgrade my rear shocks and do not want to compromise the lowered look by ordering the wrong size...  I am looking at the Progressive 440 series, I thought I have read somewhere, (maybe here?) that I should have 12.5".  What is the census on size for our ride, and opinions on the progressive 440 Seriesproduct?

Thanks!!!

The correct length of 440's or any shock for that matter, for a SERG or SEEG is 12". That is what comes on the bike, I had them on my SEEG, the Heavy Duty ones and they work great. One of those things that you buy, set like you are supposed to and then forget them because they work so well. You do have to set the sag, adjust the springs etc but other than that it is a simple bolt on.

The 11.5 even are too short when riding solo.

Did you swap the 11.5's out for 12's?
